Formula1 season starts !

The formula1 2009 season starts this weekend. If the last two seasons were interesting with all the drama and close championship races. This one promises to be a cracker !
The two top teams of last several year, Ferrari and McLaren are no longer at the top team (going by the pre-season testing and the practice sessions at Melbourne). Brawn GP, Toyota, Red Bull and the likes have made good progress and are doing the top times. Which makes the season even more interesting.
It is going to be fun, I am all set to enjoy the Australian GP this Sunday.

Introducing: DonateYourPC.in a social venture

I would like to introduce to you a new social venture, aimed at promoting computer literacy among the underprivileged by reusing old computers.

DonateYourPC.in is a unique platform to bring together Indian PC and Computer Peripheral donors with NGOs/Schools and people who need computers for education and empowerment. We know that there are people who would like to donate their old computer for a good cause but they don’t know any such requirement. So either they sell it to some junk dealer or it lies there gathering dust! DYPC plans to give such people an opportunity to donate their computer for a good cause.

We would like to get in touch with NGOs/Schools/Individuals/Anyone who would like to use our platform to either donate or use the donated peripherals we can provide them. busy busy..

I have been very busy over the past few weeks and the next few also do not look any better. And all my promises of blogging regularly are falling apart. Well this time around I think I am a little more determined and will make sure I atleast put up a post every week. Even if it is just a regular update from me..

So, what all has been keeping me busy..

– lot of work at office ofcourse.

– Gargi at home 🙂 Talking of Gargi, Her b’day is fast approaching and we need to make arrangements for a big party. It has been quite a while since we did any kind of a get together. So, this is a good opportunity to have lots and lots of friends to come together and have lots of fun. More on the plans later.

Apart from this, me and Jayashree have been having a lot of brain storming sessions about her work. She has been making good progress.

I have not been to any of the events in the past couple of months, no OCC meets, neither the BCB8. Hope I will be able to make it to the next OCC meet atleast.
